Meeting Schedule

Regular INDC programs (11:30 AM to 1:00 PM) are normally on the 4th Wednesday of January, March, May, and September, and the 3rd Wednesday of November (a joint program with the Inland Northwest Development Council). Except where otherwise indicated, we meet at the Spokane Public Library Room 1-A from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. In addition to our regular programs, we have occasional breakfast or brown-bag lunch educational opportunities and networking events.

October 26, 2016 – Brown Bag – National Philanthropy Day (Nov.9th) and Giving Tuesday (Nov. 29th) Overview

  • A brief nuts and bolts on how your organization can maximize Giving Tuesday donations
  • A Panel Presentation from United Way and the Emerging Leaders discussing Philanthropy Awards and Spokane Gives
  • A group discussion of how/if your organization has participated in Giving Tuesday and what your experience was
  • Approved for 1 CFRE credit

November 16, 2016 – Joint program with Inland Northwest Planned Giving Council – Planned Giving 101

  • Keynote presentation by Lisa Brown, WSU Medical School
  • “Planned Giving 101” with Megan Lewis
  • “How to Have the ‘Conversation'” with Theresa Boyer
